Limerick FC CEO steps down

LIMERICK FC’s Andrew Mawhinney says he intends to step down from his role as CEO of the club today.

Mawhinney, has decided to devote his time ‘to other business opportunities’ having joined the club a year ago on a voluntary basis.

He said he will continue on the board of the club and will act as its commercial advisor.

General manager Kieran Judge and club chairman Jack McCarthy will now share the CEO duties for the club.
