Che do Bheatha
THE second annual ‘Che do Bheatha’ festival in Kilkee will run this weekend, Friday 28 to Sunday 30. Expect Cuban music, Salsa dancing, Latin American food, cigars and “all things wonderfully Cuban” for this “superb three day celebration of Latin-American and Irish cultures and the close links between the two”. High five to Snr Guevara who stayed in Kilkee in 1961, inspiring Irish artist’s Jim Fitzpatrick’s iconic image of the revolutionary. See www.kilkeefestival.com.
