MINISTER Jan O’Sullivan has pledged government support for a plan which will deliver jobs and a boost for the local economy through developing the assets of the Shannon estuary.
Launching the Strategic Integrated Framework Plan for the estuary, the Limerick Labour Party TD spoke about her support for “plan-led development” in the region.
“I want to give you assurance of government support for this plan. There is strong government support for this region. With the development of the airport and the destinations, we have also seen strong economic activity . Anyone who has come back to Limerick recently will see much more confidence,” the Minister said.
