Visiting restriction in place at University Hospital Limerick

rp_Mid-Western-Regional-Hospital-300x168.jpgVISITING restrictions are continuing at the University Hospital Limerick this Monday as staff and management aim to contain the outbreak of a flu epidemic.

Notice has been issued that the restrictions are being put in place in the interests of patient care and as a precaution.

Launched with immediate effect, visiting is permitted during normal visiting hours only at the hospital – 2pm to 4pm and 6.30pm to 8.30pm daily – with one visitor per patient.

Any visitors who arrive outside of these allotted times will be allowed in.

Senior staff and governing authorities have reminded the public of the importance of adhering to these restrictions.
