Pallas Foods get their teeth into Limerick games

pallasfoodslaunch - limerick newspapersOlympics Ireland has gained a new running mate, in the shape of Limerick based Pallas  Foods, who have come on board as sponsors ahead of the 2014 Games taking place in Limerick this June.

The leading food service distributors will support the Games as the premier food and catering partner. The total contribution from Pallas Foods has been estimated at €200,000.

As part of the agreement Pallas Foods, whose head office is in Newcastle West, Limerick will provide food and catering to the 1,500 athletes, 500 coaches, and 3,000 volunteers attending the June Games.

This is the second consecutive time that Pallas Foods have partnered with Special Olympics.

Commenting on the partnership, Matt English, CEO of Special Olympics Ireland, hailed the support of Pallas Foods as a critical component in ensuring the 2014 Games were a success: “We are thrilled and delighted. Food and catering is such a vital part of these Games in terms of ensuring that all of our athletes and volunteers are provided with meals.”
