Shots fired at occupied house, man arrested

A MAN has been arrested in Limerick after shots were fired at a house in Thomondgate this Tuesday evening.

Gardai at Henry St Garda Station arrested the male following a reported incident at New Road at 7.40pm when shots were fired at a house.

There were a number of occupants (one female 22-years-old and two male teenagers) in the house at the time, but no one was injured in the incident.

A motor cycle was observed leaving the scene and Gardai arrested a male in his early 20’s close to the scene.

He was taken to Mayorstone Garda station where he is being detained under the provisions of section 30 of the offences Against the State Act 1939 as amended. IMG_0942.JPG
