THE Anti Austerity Alliance (AAA) unanimously selected Cllr Cian Prendiville as their candidate for Limerick City at the next general election.
Cllr Prendiville said he was honoured to be selected at the convention that was chaired by Cllr Brian Leech from Jobstown, Tallaght last week.

“The AAA is making history here in Limerick. Having only been set up two years ago, in last year’s local elections, we became the joint third biggest group in the city. A year on, we have used that platform not to feather our nests, but to help detonate a mass movement on water charges. And now we are at most a year on from our first General Election”, he said.
