Cannabis grow house discovered in County Limerick

CANNABIS plants with an estiimated value of €115,000 have been discovered by gardai following a planned search at a house in Athlacca, Bruff County Limerick earlier this week.

A male in his early 20s has been arretsed in connection with the find and is due to appear in court it is understood.

The search, carried out by gardai from the Divisional Drugs Squad, is part of an ongoing, intelligence led, operation set up to target the cultivation of cannabis in the Limerick and Clare region.
