Division 1A sees Garryowen, who drew 16-16 with their near neighbours Young Munster last weekend, entertain Cork Con at Dooradoyle on Saturday. The Light Blues are third in the table following a win and a draw from the opening two rounds.
Young Munster make the trip to UCD on Saturday. The students beat Ballynahinch 47-13 last weekend so an injury hit Young Munster squad will enter the game as underdogs.
In Division 1B, UL Bohemian’s take on Dolphin at Thomond Park. The Robins recorded a 20-18 win over Belfast Harlequins last time out, but will be wary of a Dolphin side still looking for their first points of the season.
In the same Division, Shannon, still looking for their first win of the season also, travel to take on St Mary’s in Dublin.
Thomond, currently in seventh place in Division 2A, host Banbridge on Saturday. The ‘Bridge’ are second in the table with a 100 per cent record from the first two games.
In the fifth tier, unbeaten Old Crescent take on Kanturk away on Saturday, while Bruff travel to Navan.
The men from Rosbrien have been hugely impressive this season and are now expected to be one of the sides in the hunt for promotion to Division 2B, come season’s end.
