Rape Crisis Midwest and CARI (children at risk in Ireland) were beneficiaries of the €4000 raised from the purchase and donation of visual art during Roches Street Traders Art Festival 2015.

For 12 days in September, the Traders’ premises filled with framed and other works by artists living in Limerick and the hinterland. Footfall was boosted by live music and pop-up foodstalls to enhance the vibrant city beat.

About €110,000 has been raised by this annual festival since its inception 15  years ago with all funds going to a changing panel of charities locally. This year’s chairman of the Traders’ committee is Roy Finucane of the award winning Tax Assist company on Roches Street.
