Missing Limerick teen found safe and well

A TEENAGE girl who was missing since last Sunday evening has been found safe and well by Gardai.

On Wednesday evening, Gardai in Limerick issued a missing persons alert for 16 year-old Chloe Elderfield after she was last seen in the Drombanna area of Limerick city on Sunday evening.

Family and friends had raised their concerns and gardai were contacted to raise the alarm.

However, this Thursday evening, Gardai conformed that the young girl was found safe and well.

Gardai said that the sharing of this alert on social media was of great assistance and they wished to thank the members of the public who assisted.
