Hunt Museum hosts ‘Freedom’ by Irish Quilters

IMG_8003 croppedWONDERFUL textiles, embroidery, patchwork and stitching cover the gallery walls of The Hunt Museum with the second show there by Irish Quilters. The exhibition ‘Freedom’ launched National Quilting Week Ireland in early July.

Specialist patchwork and quilting groups have organised exhibitions around the country, and responses to this year’s theme of ‘freedom’ range from memories of childhood playtime to the restriction of movement for nationalities across continents.

Ours to peruse for free until September 4.
