HAYMEN Harris, nephew to the late Richard Harris, brings news of this year’s gala night to Richard Harris International Film Festival, October 27 to 31 (bank holiday).
This will be ‘An Evening with Jimmy Webb’, songwriter to umpteen classics such as ‘The Highwayman’, ‘MacArthur Park’ and ‘Wichita Lineman’.
Taking place at Lime Tree Theatre on Saturday October 29 at 8pm, Webb’s concert “looks back on his days as a Midwestern teen navigating fame and fortune in Los Angeles, with vignettes of a music industry coming of age”.
Look forward to the glamorous glow of Harris wattage, with Richard’s first wife Elizabeth attending and her sons, now on the RHIFF board for a five year stint: director/ writer Damien Harris, actor Jared Harris (Lincoln, Mad Men) and actor Jamie.
