THE arrival of US tech firm @TrusourceLabs to Limerick, came at the expense of Dublin, in what its Texan co founder was a “no brainer” as he described the experience of coming to Limerick as “really refreshing”.

Alton Martin, after announcing the arrival of the firm who aim to establish 134 jobs over the next three years, said that the educated workforce, easy access and great people made the decision for the high-end tech to move here much easier.

“There are lots of reasons to be in Limerick, it’s a great town”, he said this Monday.

Competing against Dublin to position the firm in Ireland, Limerick according to the Trusource Labs boss, “was a no brainer. I have done a lot of work in Ireland and I love Dublin and I love Cork, but the experience on coming to Limerick as really refreshing as it is just a fantastic place to be and I don’t think we could be any more pleased.”

The Texan firm who have located their international operations centre on the site of the old Anglo Irish bank on Henry Street, said that the IDA having an office in Austin, was a key factor in engagement.

Trusource Labs, say that roles are being filled within the firm and they are actively seeking applications.
