A NEW Repair Directory has been compiled to encourage people to repair and reuse items as a method of reducing waste. A range of repair services have been included in the directory after the businesses contacted the council following a call for information a number of weeks ago.
Limerick City and County Council has compiled the directory and Mayor Cllr Kieran O’Hanlon has welcomed the new directory. The City’s first citizen said, “Over the past number of years, people have put value for money at the top of their shopping lists. They have also seen the value in getting goods repair as opposed to throwing things away. This Repair Directory will make it easier for people to find out where they can get their goods repaired.”
