AVIVA, sponsors of the FAI Junior Cup have announced details of the games to be featured on EirSport in the coming weeks.
AS PART of Aviva’s extension of their sponsorship of the FAI Junior Cup for the 2016 / 2017 season, they have committed to producing TV highlights from the FAI Junior Cup from Round Three onwards. This includes highlights from a select number of games from each round and TV coverage of every game from the Quarter Final to the Final on eir Sport and Irish TV.
The games to be covered in Round Five includes holders and 2017 favourites Sheriff YC, who entertain Limerick’s Carew Park. The TV cameras will also be at Kilmore Celtic for a Dublin derby with Donnycarney FC on Sunday morning.
Last year’s beaten Finalists Pike Rovers are on the #RoadToAviva again and will also be featured as they make the short trip to Dooradoyle to take on Regional United on Sunday, while 2014 Finalists Ballynanty Rovers away tie with Wexford’s Courtown Hibs will be included in the highlights package.
The last of the six games to feature in this round of Aviva television coverage will be Mervue United’s tie against Killarney Celtic on Saturday night in the Kingdom and Rivervalley Rangers hosting Westport United at the AUL complex.
The draw for Round Six (last 32) of the FAI Junior Cup with Aviva and Umbro is due to take place on Tuesday evening 6th December at the the venue of the Final, the Aviva Stadium.
