CONGRATS to University Concert Hall, having topped other venues in the Mid West to emerge again as winner for the ‘Best Art, Sport and Culture’ Award.

“This award has been a real boost and incentive to keep up the hard work!” commented general manager Sinead Hope. “We are delighted to have won the Limerick Chamber Award for the second year running, We see it as acknowledgement and recognition of the contribution the venue has made to Limerick and the wider Mid-West region, as well as the exciting developments within the organisation recently.

“These include a new film screening projector, new technical equipment to enhance our production facilitates and new online booking enhancements.”

The UL based venue now employs 56 staff staff between full time and part time, and runs a packed schedule right into ‘Beauty and the Beast’ pantomime opening December 19.  www.uch.ie
