Man killed in tragic County Limerick accident

Limerick gardai are investigating the tragic accident

A MAN has been killed in county Limerick this Wednesday evening following a road traffic incident in Kilmallock.

The 53-year-old man, who is understood to have been struck by a car on Main Street, Kilmallock, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The tragic accident occurred around 5pm.

His remains have been removed to the University Hospital Limerick for post mortem examination.

The area where the incident occurred has been sealed of for a technical examination and Bruff Gardai are leading the investigation and have appealed for witnesses.
