Gather for John Shinnors painter ‘in conversation’

THE Hunt Museum and its arty chambers make a pleasing platform for the magnificent, original John Shinnors painter  ‘in conversation’ this Wednesday 25 at 2pm.

From the museum’s Jasmine Bouvier: “Join us for an informal discussion with John Shinnors where he will talk about his artistic practice. This is a great way to ask him questions about his work in a friendly environment”.

Shinnors was born in Limerick in 1950 and studied at the Limerick School of Art and Design. He has regular solo exhibitions and has exhibited in many group shows since the 1980s as well as poetic collaborations as illustrator.

His work is represented in many public and private collections and he has received a number of awards.

Usually dressed in a fedora and creamy pastels, ‘the man in white’ was the subject of the R.T.É documentary ‘Split Image – John Shinnors’.
