Indigo wins elevator pitch competition

SHANNON-based visual management solutions company Indigo has won the Mid West ‘Fuelling Ambition’ roadshow elevator pitch competition worth €4,000.

More than 100 business women and entrepreneurs from throughout the region attended the recent Fuelling Ambition ‘Steps to Success’ roadshow in Bunratty.

Organised by Enterprise Ireland and Network Ireland Limerick, in conjunction with Local Enterprise Office Clare and the Entrepreneurs Academy, the aim was to encourage, support and drive the ambition of female entrepreneurs by showcasing the ‘Steps to Success’ of successful Irish business women and entrepreneurs.

The roadshow featured an elevator pitch competition with Claire Bannon, of Indigo winning the Mid West prize which is designed to fast-track each winner along the steps to business success. It includes ten sessions with Enterprise Ireland mentors and attendance at Enterprise Ireland’s ‘Excel at Export Selling’ training programme; Annual membership of Network Ireland; Leadership training programme with the Entrepreneurs Academy which has trained and supported 30,000 start-ups and small businesses.

Indigo creates visual management solutions to improve day-to-day processes in organisations. The company designs and manufactures whiteboard products and interactive tooling aids that provide teams and managers with real-time information on levels of performance, problems and actions plans needed.

Caroline Dunlea, Director and co-founder of Core Optimisation and Clodagh Cavanagh, Managing Director of Abbey Machinery spoke at the event which provided business women with an opportunity to network with fellow entrepreneurs.
