LIMERICK Writers’ Centre and The Hunt Museum will treat all comers to a Lunch Time Poetry programme at the old riverside Custom House.

Take note of Friday dates July 7, 14, 21 and 28 for poets reading their own work and all preceded by live music from local musicians, 1pm to 2pm. Free in, we should be seated by 12.55pm.

First to read will be Mel White from Clare and Doon man, Paul McNamara on Friday 7.

White won this year’s Éigse Michael Hartnett Poetry Slam and Paul McNamara has a record of awards for his gig as spoken word poet, dramatist and writer.
