Two arrested in County Limerick over Quad Bike thefts

Gardaí in Newcastlewest have arrested two men as part of an investigation into the theft of Quad Bikes in the Limerick, Kerry and North Cork areas over the past twelve months.

The men, aged 55 and 37, were arrested in the Kilmallock area yesterday evening and were detained at Newcastlewest and Bruff Garda Stations under the provisions of Section 4 – Criminal Justice Act 1984.

A Quad Bike, valued at €8,000, was also recovered

The two men are expected to appear before Middleton District Court this morning.

Gardaí say that their investigations are continuing and further arrests are anticipated.
