WHILE Level 5 restrictions might be in place for another few weeks, that’s no reason why you can’t still enjoy the delicious offerings from Castletroy Park Hotel.
They have been successfully operating the ‘Castletroy Park At Home’ market stand outside the hotel on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for passers-by to enjoy some freshly brewed coffee and homemade baked treats.
From chicken and mushroom pies, delicious quiches or their homemade sausage rolls, why not drop by to pick up dinner for the evening.
Their famous cookies and brownies are also available to enjoy with your coffee to go from 11am each day. They also take part in the Castletroy Farmers Market at the Castletroy Town Centre each Friday so why not pop by and say hello to Kevin and the team next time!
The team at Castletroy Park also introduced their delicious Brunch Box, which is a huge hit with locals. The box contains waffles, pancakes, sausage rolls and freshly baked pastries with enough to cater for up to four people.
It’s a great idea for a midweek pick-me-up or perfect for a lazy Sunday morning.
They are still taking bookings for Mother’s Day this weekend but call soon to avoid disappointment. Boxes are just €20 and can be collected from the hotel.
Chef Fintan Ryan has come up with a great solution for family dinners too with some delicious options available. Choose from Cottage Pie, Chicken, Mushroom and Leek Pie or Beef Lasagne, all freshly prepared in the hotel kitchen.
The main courses all come with complimentary side dishes including Asian slaw, corn on the cob and garlic bread. For just €20, these serve up to two adults and two children.
Afternoon Tea at Castletroy Park is famous locally for indulgent sweet treats and creative savoury selections.
The team have designed a unique summery menu for Mother’s Day which will be extended with availability to order every weekend. Just €27.50 per person, it’s a wonderful idea for a lockdown birthday celebration or a special occasion at home.
