Limerick artists, organisers, agencies and creatives promise a high profile for the city’s performing and visual artists in Culture Night of Friday September 24.

Pictured in Dublin Castle at the national launch of Culture Night 2010’s agenda of free events are Gemma Carcaterra, Daghdha; Kate Wrixon, Limerick Printmakers; Rory Prout, Contact Studios; Melissa O’Brien, Limerick Printmakers; Nuala O’Sullivan, Contact Studios and Sheila Deegan, Limerick City Council arts officer.  Many more venues and providers will run an open platform that day such as Georgian House, Hunt Museum and King John’s Castle.

Temple Bar Cultural Trust unveiled the programmes of 20 regions which will participate on Friday September 24. More anon in Limerick Post.
