DUE to phenomenal demand the organizers of Cois Fharraige have released a limited number day tickets for Saturday and Sunday.

The weekend got off to an amazing start with Doves playing a storming set kicking off with Jetstream and bursting through hits Kingdom of Rust, Black and White Town and ending the night with There Goes The Fear.

With Kilkee basking in sunshine Cois Fharraige opened with Joe Echo and was followed by the soulful tones of Laura Izibor. The Blizzards whipped the west coast crowd into a frenzy with crowd-pleasing favourites Fantasy, Miss Fantasy Peaches and Trust Me Im A Doctor.

And its set to get better with Saturdays offering festival goers a stellar line up of The Hold Steady, Newton Faulkner, Noah and the Whale, Jerry Fish and the Mudbug Club and the Saw Doctors with Sunday seeing The Zutons return to Kilkee to headline, The Lightning Seeds playing a unique acoustic performance and Stereo MCs, Limericks own Jazzlite and Hallo... I Love You also performing.
