Cruises St. will host Limerick Live PDF Print E-mail

Cruises Street will be the location for the Limerick Live festival happening on Saturday October 2. Presented by HMV and Dolans with Limerick City Council and Live95fm in partnership, the one day festival is an ambitious undertaking with two stages erected on the street providing a platform for the best of Limerick and Irish music, comedy and drama with special guests.

Villagers have confirmed a date for Limerick playing Friday December 17 at St. Johns Church.

Electronic arts festival Tweak taking place this September 13 to 24 all around Limerick presents 2 concerts of live electronic performance in Daghdha later this month. Sarsparilla & Cignol perform Wednesday 22 and Rick Snow & guests perform Thursday 23.

Now with another summer season at an end for another year and students returning to Limerick, venues have been busy in the last week filling their diaries for the winter season, already confirmed are Calvin Harris in Trinity Rooms on Sept 9. On Sept 23, The Redneck Manifesto and Jape are in Dolans and DJ Eddie Halliwell plays in Trinity Rooms.

ELECTRIC Picnic 2010 flings open its doors at 9am this Friday 3rd September (please note for Campervans only access will be allowed from 4pm on Thursday) for another year of fun and frivolity. To ensure that picnickers don’t miss any of the musical treats on offer we’ve announced the stage times for the three days. And according to weather forecasts it looks like picnickers will be enjoying all of our harmonious offerings whilst basking in glorious sunshine on the lawns of Stradbally Hall, with temperatures set to soar to 22degrees and remain dry.
