PET LETTERS OF THE WEEK

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

Hi Catriona,

The Limerick Animal Welfare sponsored dog walk will take place again this year on Sunday 30th August.  We will start from the Sanctuary at Moorestown, Kilfinane at 2p.m. and enjoy a short or extended woodland walk.  The event was a great success last year and everyone had a great day .  Even the most ambitious walkers should be back at the Sanctuary by 4 p.m. for rest and refreshments.  All dogs on leads please and if you do not have a dog one of the Sanctuary dogs would be happy to accompany you.

Sponsorship Forms are available at our Charity Shop, 59 Parnell Street, or from the Sanctuary at Kilfinane. Tel 063 91110.

If you need any further information please ring 061 336740.

Many thanks,

Marion FitzGibbon

Hi Caitriona,

I contacted you about three weeks ago to report my white golden labrador missing. (Dodger -aged 14). Thankfully we found her the other day – someone who saw the advert in the Limerick Post pointed us in the right direction!! It was a great relief to get her back safe and sound as we have had her since she was 6 weeks old.

Many thanks for all your help,

Kind Regards

Hi,

My cat has been in the missing section in your paper for the last few weeks. Her name is Furby and she is a tortoiseshell coloured cat missing from the Corbally area.

I am just dropping you a line to let you know that she has returned safely to us. I would like to thank everyone at the Limerick post for their help and let you know that she can be taken from the missing list in your paper.

Again, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone that helped and called.

Thanks and regards,
