Man forced to burn car

GARDAI are continuing with their investigation into an alleged abduction of a publican in Abbeyfeale.
A man said to be in his late twenties sustained a number of injuries during the incident, which happened at 2am on Wednesday morning.

The man says he was taken from his home in Abbeyfeale to a remote location and then forced to set fire to his own car.
He is understood to have received a number of burn injuries during his ordeal. He was treated at Cork University Hospital before being discharged on Thursday.
It is believed four men were involved in the incident and all spoke with Limerick accents.
