GARDAI have brought a 21-year-old man before a special sitting of Limerick District Court this Saturday in connection with the murder Shane Geoghegan.

Barry Doyle of 106 Hyde Road Limerick, but previously from Portland Row in Dublin, was charged with murdering Mr Geoghegan in Dooradoyle last November.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Limerick District Court again on Friday.
