MARY Immaculate College ran a series of events to mark Seachtain na Gaeilge, which began on Monday, March 2 last. There was a Sean-Nós dancing workshop with Patricia Ni Fhatharta in the hall, where it was fáilte roimh chách.

On Tuesday 3, there was a Coirmcheoil with John Spillane in the hall, and on Thursday 5, there is a cookery demonstration with Naoise Ó Cathasaigh. Taking place in the canteen at 7pm, the dul isteach is 8euro and again, all are welcome.

This Thursday event is organised with the Health Promotion Unit at MIC, South Circular Road.
