Google Street View car spotted around Limerick

The Google Street view car has been spotted in several location around Limerick City and suburbs according to several of our readers. An Italian registered black Opel Astra with the unique camera equipment has been driving around recording images for the Google Maps feature.

It allows you to quickly and easily view and navigate high-resolution, 360 degree street level images of various cities around the world, with Limerick and the rest of the country to be added soon.

Street View has already been introduced  in the US, Australia and the UK, where it has raised privacy concerns.
