Rock & Roll legend Rod Stewart will perform live at Thomond Park Stadium on 4th July and the Limerick Strand Hotel is promising yet another night to remember with celebrations which are sure to impress.
The fabulous 70’s and 80’s themed Rod Stewart After Party will be hosted at Limerick’s newest 4* City Centre Hotel where there will be a best dressed competition with great prizes for those who arrive looking like the legendry singer himself. The prize for Best Dressed Rod Stewart will be a weekend break away at the Limerick Strand Hotel’s sister hotel, the four star Hilton in Dublin’s Kilmainham!
The Limerick Strand Hotel is the closest hotel to Thomond Park, with just a short 10 minute stroll away making it the perfect venue for pre-concert drinks and food, as well as ensuring the party lasts into the night with a pig on a spit on the outside terrace of the Shannon Suite, where James Sexton Entertainment will be providing the 70’s/80’s themed disco and live music on the Terrace Bar, where a buffet of fine food from chef Tom Flavin will be on offer.
The party will continue into the early hours with a disco and no doubt there will be familiar ones from the legendary rocker himself! The event is free of charge, and the Limerick Strand Hotel is making sure that this Saturday night’s party is one to remember.
To kick start your afternoon on 4th July and to ensure everyone attending the concert doesn’t miss out on any important rugby action, the Terrace Bar will also be showing the Lions take on South Africa in their 2009 tour on the hotel’s 5 big screens.
