Two serious following fatal crash

A COUPLE in their 60s died when the van they were travelling in collided with an SUV, just outside Askeaton.
Two other people were seriously injured in the crash.

The accident happened on the main Askeaton to Rathkeale Road around 6pm yesterday evening.
The two male occupants in the SUV were taken to Limerick Regional Hospital and remain in a critical but stable condition.
The road was closed for a time but has since reopened.
Gardai are seeking anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or been in the area at the time to contact them on 061-601630.
