Calling all local talent

COORS Light invites local Limerick talent to join International act Reverend and The Makers, Mercury nominated RSAG (Rarely Seen Above Ground) and synth-pop outfit Dark Room Notes for Limerick’s creative music experience, Coors Light Peak. This event takes place on Saturday September 19 in a custom designed ‘venue’ in Limerick’s port before moving on to Galway, Cork, Waterford and Dublin.

There are two slots for Limerick Bands and DJs to join the stellar line up as well as the chance for Limerick’s digital creatives to showcase their work on 2 x 20 ft shipping containers that will flank the stage and be used as screens to project video footage. Digital creatives should bear the following in mind when submitting work: Coors Light Peak is a unique event set in shipyards and ports, the backdrop of the Coors Light Peak event will be Limerick and Coors Light is an ice cold refreshing pint of beer, which originates in the Rocky Mountains.

The raw, gritty backdrop of Steamboat Quay with its heavy steel cranes, smouldering scrap metal, weighbridges and open docks provides the backdrop for this hard-hitting Coors Light music experience. Complete with a custom built stage and Peak Bar, made from a 40 foot shipping container and a stage built for one night only, Limerick music fans can get a piece of the action by applying for free tickets on www.coorslightpeak.ie.
