Smyths host Whitewater rock show

Irish Rockers Whitewater blasted onto the Irish Music scene in 2006 with the release of their debut single “Original”. This weekend October 24, they will hit Smyths Bar with their high-energy rock on show, which should not be missed. Following extensive touring and promoting the band decided to release their second single titled “Stay” which spent a staggering 13 weeks at number 1 in the download charts and reached number 23 in Ireland’s official top 40.

The band then went back to the studio and followed up with a third single titled “Summertime” which also went to number 1 in the download charts and reached number 31 in the Irish charts. With three singles under their belts the guys decided to shoot a video for their fourth single the titled track from their debut album “Relentless” which charted at number 21 and was also a download number 1. The band has built up a massive following and now plays up to twenty shows a month.

The band has appeared on Tg4’s pop 4 and Network 2. Their biggest performance to date is 02 in the Park playing to an audience of 100,000 and gaining the band support slots in such Venues as The Olympia Theatre, The Helix, The Waterfront and Smyths Bar supporting some of the biggest names in the Rock and Pop scene in Ireland and the U.K.
