Roads remain hazardous

MOTORISTS have been asked to be careful on the roads as the cold conditions continue to make driving dangerous.

Icy conditions remain on some roads in parts of the county, as temperatures remain low in Limerick overnight.

Gardai say many secondary roads across the city and county are still “very dangerous”. A number of minor crashes have been reported over the past 24 hours.

Throughout the country roads remain hazardous, as the low temperatures has also left many roads extremely dangerous.
