Arrests made after youths run riot

GARDAI investigating damage to property in West Limerick have arrested four men in connection with criminal damage.

It is understood a number of houses and cars were damaged when stones were thrown in a number of areas, including Rathkeale, Ballingarry, Knockaderry, Castlemahon, and Ballagran.

The incidents were reported to gardai in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Newcastle West Gardai detained four men in their late teens and early twenties and they are due to appear in court on Wednesday, February 10.
