A mile in my shoe – and on the runway

On Sunday May 30 from 1.30pm the Limerick Strand Hotel is hosting an unique fashion event – a charity multicultural and ethnic fashion event in aid of the Daughters of Charity Lisnagry at St Vincents Centre.

A mile in my shoe is an international and cultural fund raising event for people with intellectual disabilities under the services of the Daughters of Charity Lisnagry to raise 15,000euro towards development of a sensory garden for the St Vincent Centre.

The first of its kind in Limerick. A mile in their shoe  Runway is Limericks first multi-cultural and ethnic fashion night. The walk a mile in my shoe runway event aims to re-vitalising the spirit of Irish fashion by showcasing ethical attire and upcoming urban clothing lines.

With fashion designers from around Ireland in attendance, guests will experience colourful and diverse style.

The event will also feature refreshments, face painting, a charity head shave, fashion stands, and photobooths where guests can accessorize and have their photo professionally shot. Fashion companies featured will include Precious Jewel Attire, B.E. Clothing, Razac Clothing, Dope Boyz Clothing and many more. Doors are at 1.30pm and the show starts at 2pm with performances from True Blood Soldiers (TBs), Third Raw, Charismatic and more.
