BAMBU Restaurant at 116 O’Connell Street brings in a thriving trade until late at night, everyday of the week. This Chinese and Thai restaurant’s high standards and a keen price policy ensure regular dine-in and takeaway orders, appealing to all age groups.
With main meat courses such as Ginger Chicken and chicken with Mixed Vegetables from €5.95 available all day, we can dine handsomely at Bambu, and as often, savour Bambu’s menu in the comfort of our home.

Move up a euro to €7 dishes and Bambu is your oyster sauce: Cashew Nut Beef, Chilli Beef, Massaman Chicken and vegetarian dishes all are available.
“We’re open from 12noon until close on a Monday to Friday basis, and from 2pm all day at the weekends,” confirms owner Mags Enright. “People realise that the very same dishes they like to eat in-house can be enjoyed at home, and at any hour that suits you”.
The house duck is sliced amarin roast duck with apple sauce, or try Ped Ta Kari, slicked stuffed roast duck with sweetcorn, carrots and green peas, served with lemon grass sauce. Entertaining made easy.
“We offer a three course Chinese set menu for just €13.95,” Mags points out, “which makes light work of family or party get togethers. Opt for starters such as BBQ spare ribs or chicken satay, and main courses cashewnut beef or chicken, sweet & sour, Thai green curry or chilli beef or chicken”. Tel. 061-401523.
