Deirdre Bounds, is as she says herself โan entrepreneur in the purest sense, no commercial experience, just a great idea, a pile of passion, lots of mistakes and a sense of humourโ. Enda OโCoineen, entrepreneur, adventurer, philanthropist, crossed the Atlantic in a 15 ft dingy at the age of 21.
The event will also hear from Galway member Liz Cassidy, EU Entrepreneurial Ambassador, Derek Reilly, Area Director of BNI, Julia Sinnamon, Enterprise Ireland, Carmel Brennan, Galway Chamber of Commerce and our award winners from 2009, Rita Mylett and Liz Waters. National Awards co-ordinator, Dorothy Quinn released the shortlist of nominees going forward to this yearโs awards. Limerick is well represented with Nicole Dunphy of Pandorabell and Aevann Upton of Spin Southwest making the final cut. Commenting on the awards, National Awards co-ordinator, Dorothy Quinn said that the standard of nominations was very high again this year and she congratulated all this years shortlisted nominees.
