New virtual office service aims to cut business overheads

-

A RECENTLY established Limerick-based virtual office, Virtual Office Professional Administration Management (VOPAM), is designed to help companies save money in the current tough economic times. VOPAM is a professional administration service founded by Patricia McGovern that offers cost-effective solutions in virtually managing companies’ business administration requirements.

The current economic climate is placing heavy financial burdens on companies, SMEs and entrepreneurs, many of whom are being forced to cut costs in order to ensure their business survives. VOPAM was established as a result of Patricia’s growing awareness of how web-based technology can allow a business to use ‘virtual assistants’ rather than full-time members of staff.

Using the VOPAM service ensures significant cost savings for companies – there is no need for companies to pay PAYE, PRSI, holiday pay and sick pay or even set up IT systems or office space for a staff member. Yet companies still retain all the benefits of having a full-time staff member and can have an ongoing professional relationship with Patricia as their Virtual Assistant.

A trained facilitator, Patricia has extensive administration and project management experience and has worked in education, alternative dispute resolution, property development, government bodies and construction. More recently Patricia was involved in managing the recording and reconciliation of costings on the Limerick Tunnel Project in Limerick, one of the largest construction projects in mid-west Ireland.
