THE Chairman of Limerick County Board Liam Lenihan has said that the hosting of the International Rules series on October 23rd will be the beginning of a new chapter in Limerick GAA.

At the launch of the new International Rules jersey today he confirmed that Maurice Horan will be ratified as the county’s new football manager shortly after a testing year for Limerick GAA.

Speaking to the Limerick Post he said that the October event is an excellent chance to showcase the city.

“It’s huge for the city, for the hotels, the restaurants, the bars and everyone involved. We’re encouraging everyone to make to come to Limerick for the bank holiday weekend”.
