Limerick Foodies to exhibit at Food and Wine Magazine Christmas Show

-

LOCAL companies will be out in force for the Food and Wine Magazine Christmas Show, which takes place this weekend November 26-28 in the RDS. Limerick will be well represented at the gastronomic event, with JOD Food Products displaying their wares to the seasonal crowd. The three-day food and drink event is paradise for the discerning palate with each day packed full of shows, master classes, demos and tastings designed to teach visitors everything they need to learn to stage their own festive gathering, big or small.

The Mezzanine level of the RDS is transformed into a Winter Wonderland artisan village this year at the show. Come and sample some of Ireland’s finest craft food produce – from cheese and chocolate to bread and sweet treats.

‘Flash Tasting’ will take place every half hour from the wonderful artisan producers which will circulate through the crowd, offering them a chance to sample their produce. There will also be a seating area where visitors can sit and relax.

The show will also include The Chef’s Table where lucky audience members will be served 3-course meals by the chefs themselves including Neven Maguire, Derry Clarke, Ross Lewis, Dylan McGrath, Sunil Ghai, Paul Flynn and Kevin Thornton to name a few with live demonstrations from these masters taking place on the Main Stage.

Tickets are available at €20 per person from ticketmaster.

Food for thought has three pairs of tickets for entrance to the show and exhibition on this Sunday, so get your name, address and a contact number to Food and Wine Show Competition, Limerick Post Newspaper, 97 Henry Street, Limerick before 3pm on Friday November 26 and be in with a chance to win a pair of tickets.
