Flannery out for up to six weeks

AS Tony McGahan announced his Munster squad to face Glasgow this Saturday at Musgrave Park, he was doing so without international hooker, Jerry Flannery. The dynamic forward who has had the worst run of luck with injuries, found the results of a scan to show a tear in his calf muscle.

Flannery pulled up in the dying minutes of his side’s win over Ulster on New Years day after coming off the bench at the 50 minute mark to make his comeback from a similar injury suffered last year. The injury will will rule him out of action for four to six weeks.
