‘Mayhem’ family event for Easter Sunday

THE Milk Market Limerick successfully hosted the first in what is to be a series of family-fun market events on Sunday March 20 last.  ‘Mayhem at the Milk Market’ attracted over 12,000 visitors, a record number for the weekly Sunday Market. According to David O’Brien, market manager, “It really confirmed what we had thought. If you provide Limerick people, and visitors to the city, with events they can enjoy, they will support you in great numbers. ‘Mayhem at the Milk Market’ was a great event for visitors, for the Milk Market and for the city, and its success is encouraging us to repeat.

“The kids loved the wizard shows, the magicians, puppet shows, jugglers, stilt-walkers, the crazy characters and the fun DJ”.
“Parents, grandparents and others enjoyed exploring the stands and stalls, and seeing the kids having such fun – and all for free!” Mr O’Brien continued.

The next major ‘Mayhem at the Milk Market’ family-fun event will be on Easter Sunday, April 24.
“ Because it will be Easter means it will be an Eggstraordinary event,” promises the market  manager. “We are going to have lots of new family-fun dimensions, with added madness, surprises, more stalls and shops and a very special family menu. The details will be on our website in early April”.
