Villagers for the Milk Market

JUST confirmed for the Milk Market this September are Villagers. The Dublin singer/songwriter Conor J. O’Brien and his band will play Live at the Big Top on Wednesday September 21. The Villagers’ debut album Becoming A Jackal was nominated for 2010 Mercury Music Prize and more recently for Ireland’s Choice Music Prize.

The record topped the Irish charts and tracks such as ‘That Day’ and ‘The Meaning of The Ritual’ have remained on regular rotation on all quality radio stations. Following on from the largest Irish headline show to date last weekend at Dublin’s Marley Park, O’Brien returns to Limerick for the first time since his wonderful solo show in St. John’s Church last February.
