Hermitage Green a hot tip for Greenpark

THE band Hermitage Green was born in the summer of 2010. Formed by a group of individuals who played music, became a group of friends through music, who then became a band. The five-piece acoustic band is Felix Jones on bodhran and backing vocals; Dan Murphy on lead vocals, Guitar; Darragh Griffinon vocals, guitar, Barry Murphy takes lead vocals and guitar and Darragh Graham plays the banjo.

The band’s writing and performing is influenced by Mumford and Sons, John Martin, Neil Young and Beoga to name a few. Hermitage Green play with tremendous energy, musical talent and a lot of charm. The group mix their traditional Irish influences with forays into well known music by Florence and the Machine, The Dubliners and a mix of 90’s dance classics.  Hermitage Green play at Limerick Racecourse this Sunday October 9.
