ANYONE who saw Stefan Barry do a knock-out turn in various Chekovian roles during Orchard Theatre Company’s recent run will know the man has talent.
Barry teams with Simon Thompson of Orchard again in a new trilogy called called ‘underGROUND’, penned by the British actor himself. Facebook with Orchard to check out audition details for casting. Thompson reports that the three theatre pieces focus on three aspects of underground.
“There’s an emphasis on the aside/ soliloquy/ monologue using comedy and physical theatre to portray the mental machinations of the internal dialogue”.

Singing with Heart & Feet
SOULscapes is the November series of meetings, evenings, sharings that “celebrate and reflect on the human spirit through art, word, music, dance and song”. These take place on Wednesday nights in Friar’s Gate Theatre, Kilmallock and feature a guest speaker to engage us positively.
On Wednesday 23, ‘Singing with Heart & Feet’ is presented by Colum Sands and Madhu Ghatigar, 8pm.
