THE annual Sean Sabhat Commemoration will take place in Limerick on Sunday 8^th January. Sinn Féin Vice-President, Mary Lou McDonald TD, will be the main speaker this year.

The commemoration will commence at 2.45pm at Bedford Row with a march to Sabhat’s grave at the Republican Plot, Mount St. Laurence Cemetery. The McSwiney/ McCurtain Memorial Band from Cork and the Carrick-on-Suir Republican Flute Band from Co. Tipperary will also take part in the commemoration.
