New music for 2012

Windings
Windings has released a limited 7” single with two new recordings. Coming out on the Out on a Limb label the tunes in question are ‘The Space I Occupy’ and ‘The Hassle’. A video for ‘The Hassle’ is now online.
See it at www.musiclimerick.com. ‘The Hassle’ is known to fans of the band as “the one with the cowbell” and was edited by drummer Aaron Mulhall. Steve Ryan of Windings explains,

“that’s footage of us laying down the actual tracks in studio, as you hear them in the finished song. There are a couple of obvious vocal overdubs, but otherwise, what you’re seeing is what you’re hearing. It’s a based on an idea I had last year for an interactive video, but the technology isn’t really there yet to make it happen. But maybe next year! But Aaron made this fantastic video for us, using footage shot by Matthew Organ. So major thanks to those two guys!”

Jay-Red

PERFORMED by Mc Mimmic and produced by Mc Jay Red with a little help from Concy Ryan, ‘Hi You Come ere I want ya’ is the catchy new rap and video from the Limerick rapper. The video, which contains adult themes, has notched up over 7,000 hits since its recent release. Directed by Brian Ruane and Jeff Lennon the video is available on YouTube
